Sevilla
Seville, one bite at a time
Seville isn’t a city you devour. You graze on it. A sliver of jamón at the bar, a patio half-hidden behind iron grillwork, a snatch of flamenco escaping some doorway in Triana. Orange trees line the streets, their fruit too bitter for anyone to touch, and you wander beneath them from one threshold to the next, ducking in, doubling back, lingering, then drifting off again. Maybe that’s the real pulse of Seville: it never quite sits down, never fully arrives, always with one foot in the street and an eye on whatever lane comes next.
